Mercedes CLS was the first 4 doors coupe, while the Volkswagen Passat was the first 4 doors bondable coupe. But Hyundai Sonata Hybrid is the first 4 doors coupe which is actually a hybrid. The new Hyundai Sonata was already launched in South Korea and North America, and it is already considered a death rival for the Volkswagen Passat CC. At the New York Auto Salon 2010, the Koreans presented, in a world premier, the hybrid version of this model. Besides the normal model, the Hyundai Sonata Hybrid comes with a frontal part which has been pretty much changed. The lights are also modified so the car has an extremely aggressive image for an electric car. The backside has also been modified but fortunately, not so dramatically.
